Who We Are

We are a team that recognizes that our youth have a purpose, that they are of importance and that they are able to do mighty works for the Kingdom of God. And with that recognition, we are joining together to help our youth become Examples Demonstrating God’s Excellence.

Mission of The Youth E.D.G.E (Ecclesiastes 12:1)

Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor Him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore. Ecc. 12:1 (NLT)

Our Mission:

To raise up true examples of God’s excellence and love and to dispel the negative images of today’s youth:

• Our youth are NOT a lostcause.
• Our youth are willing vessels for God’s work.
• Our youth are trail blazers for the next generation.
• Our youth will wholly and unashamedly serve God.

Our Purpose (1 Timothy 4:12)

As a youth ministry, our purpose is to consistently remind our youth that they should be examples for others. The New Living Translation reads as follows: “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”

The Vision

The vision of The EDGE Youth Ministry is to see mighty young men and women of God succeed in every aspect of their lives. To lead other young people to Christ and truly demonstrate God’s excellence.
